It is just amazing when you reasise that technology has made it possible to be able to watch what is happening around the world in real time, share your life experience and communicate in ways that were not possible in the near past. "A life in a day" is a documentary shot by people all over the world that serves as a time capsule for future generations to see what it was like to be alive on the 24th July 2010. It is an incredible public motion event 94 minutes 53 seconds long and includes scenes from 4.500 hours of footage in 80.000 submissions to youtube from 192 nations. The clips which were submitted to youtube are showing respective occurrences from around the world on a single day and the premiere of the film was streamed live on January 27, 2011.
